History of ISKCON Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir

Commissioned in 1993 by followers of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who wanted a major ISKCON presence in the national capital. Designed pro-bono by architect Achyut Kanvinde, the complex was completed and inaugurated on 5 April 1998 by PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the presence of Delhi CM Sahib Singh Verma. It quickly became a major pilgrimage and cultural centre in South Delhi.
