History of ISKCON Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Temple
Founded on 15 May 1978 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder-acharya of ISKCON. The presiding deities Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari were installed in 1980. The complex grew into a major spiritual, cultural, and charitable centre under the Maharashtra Public Trust Act and became the model for many subsequent ISKCON temples in India and abroad. The temple also houses deities of Jagannath, Baladeva, Subhadra, and Tulasi Devi.
