Founded by Sri Sakthi Amma, head of the Sri Narayani Peedam trust in Vellore. The temple complex was built on ~40 hectares of land at the base of green hills at Thirumalaikodi. The structure was completed in early August 2007 and the grand Maha Kumbhabhishekam was held on 24 August 2007.
